According to a sociological survey, most Russian motorists prefer to choose a car, focusing more on its price than on equipment.
MASMI Marketing Research Agency conducted a sociological survey of Russian car owners. According to the study, 77% of respondents said that the price is the main motivating factor when buying a new car.
The respondents were both men and women living in different cities of the Russian Federation - from Moscow and St. Petersburg to Novosibirsk and Nizhny Novgorod. The study, conducted in the form of an online survey, was attended by more than a thousand people, including owners of old cars and SUVs.
It is also worth noting that owners of SUVs pay less attention to the price than others. In addition, most car owners believe that a high-quality car in the basic configuration is preferable to a cheaper option with additional options. For them, for example, such a parameter as car safety is important - car owners are ready to pay extra for a more reliable security system.
