Sergey Kharlashkin will temporarily head MetrostroyToday, a meeting of the board of directors took place at OJSC Metrostroy. Following the meeting, it was decided to establish a temporary sole executive body in the person of Sergey Viktorovich Kharlashkin. Sergey Kharlashkin will take the place of the head of the construction company from December 19.

On December 6, 2019, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on misappropriation or embezzlement against the general director of Metrostroy Nikolai Alexandrov and his two alleged accomplices.

According to investigators, in November 2017, Nikolai Alexandrov teamed up with Oleg Kuzmenko, the head of the branch of the company, and Anatoly Boltov, director of the commercial company. According to law enforcement officers, the men entered into a fictitious contract for the supply of materials under the guise of executing state contracts. Investigators estimate that the damage is at least 178 million rubles.

Sergey Kharlashkin was born in the Primorsky Territory.

In 1992, he graduated from the Higher Commercial School, and in 2017, the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. In 2012, Sergey Kharlashkin was appointed to the position of CJSC Firm Mosvodokanalstroy. From 2013 to 2014, he served as General Director of Mosavtodor and Partners OJSC. Since 2014, he headed the Committee for the Development of Transport Infrastructure of the Northern Capital.
