In a global network, the Japanese automaker published the first teasers of new concept cars that will be shown to the public next month at the 43rd Tokyo International Motor Show.
The Mitsubishi trio will demonstrate the new design philosophy of the Japanese brand and the innovative technologies that will appear on future models.
The first car - the GC-PHEV (Grand Cruiser) - is a concept of a full-size cross-country vehicle with a hybrid powerplant, whose batteries are recharged both while driving and in the parking lot from a conventional outlet. The All-Wheel Drive Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC) cars photos model is equipped with the latest technology in proactive safety and driver assistance via wireless networks.
The second exhibit of Mitsubishi called XR-PHEV (Cross Runner) is a prototype of the future compact crossover. Like the GC-PHEV, the coupe-shaped SUV is driven by a rosette hybrid powertrain, whose specifications are not specified.
The company GC-PHEV and XR-PHEV on the stand will be a compact family car Concept AR (Active Runabout), combining mobility and practicality of the crossover with the comfort of a minivan. Unlike the first two debutants, the Concept AR is equipped with a compact turbocharged internal combustion engine and direct fuel injection system.
