Motorists had the opportunity several months before the world premiere of the new Mercedes-Benz V-class minivan to get acquainted with the design of the model's cabin.
The new car, which has the code designation W447, is designed as a replacement for two minivans at once: Viano and R-class, which is one of the most unpopular models in the brand's product range. The company notes that, in terms of its characteristics, the new product will be largely identical to passenger cars, since the car is developed using technologies that are usually used in the construction of "cars".
The interior of the Mercedes-Benz V-class draws attention to such elements as the deep "wells" of the instrument panel, round air ducts of the stove with a chrome-plated border, a wide center console with a large touch screen and a joystick controlling the multimedia complex. The top version of the Mercedes-Benz V-class will have a leather interior, decorated with natural wood.
If you believe the rumors, the range of engines of the diesel cars new minivan will initially consist of 4-cylinder petrol and diesel engines with turbocharging technology. By the middle of the generation life cycle, a V-six will be prepared for the new product.
The premiere of the successor to the R-Class and Viano will be held in March next year at the motor show in Geneva.
