To the delight of Hyundai motorists, a few weeks before the premiere of the second generation of the Genesis model, he distributed sketches of the future bestseller.
On the example of the Hyundai Genesis model of the “next” generation, the South Korean automaker will demonstrate a new vector of development of the brand’s designer language called Fluidic Sculpture. The most striking details of the Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 philosophy, judging by the car, are a convex hexagonal radiator grill, front lights creeping onto the wings, a sloping roof line, fancifully shaped wide taillights on LED elements, an elegant bending of the “aft” struts and a strongly tilted rear window. The rival of the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class will be made with 3.8- and 5.0-liter gasoline engines and an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. In the future, the company intends to replace this transmission with an “automatic” with ten speeds of the Volkswagen cars.
An optional all-wheel drive system (HTRAC) with electronic control will be available for the sedan. Depending on the driving style and road conditions, the electronics can transfer torque from one axis to another in a split second. Also, the model will receive an electric power steering, traction control systems for cornering Advanced Traction Cornering Control and pretensioning of seat belts during emergency braking.
