Nissan's vice president of marketing and sales, Guillaume Cartier, unveiled information about the new generation of the C-class hatchback Nissan Tiida, whose premiere on the European market will take place in the coming months.
The representative of the Japanese concern has assured motorists that the model Nissan Tiida will be able to compete on equal terms with the best-selling global market Volkswagen Golf VII. According to Guillaume Cartier, the target audience of the Tiida model will be very diverse and each client of the brand will be able to choose a car according to their tastes and financial possibilities.
The automaker will produce a car with a diverse range of power plants, which, in particular, will include a highly economical diesel unit that consumes just over 3 liters of fuel per 100 km of run and a powerful gasoline engine. The “charged” version of the Nissan Tiida, which will rival the Volkswagen Golf GTI, will be refined in the Nismo court tuning studio.
Earlier it was reported that the five-door car will be equipped with gasoline and diesel 4-cylinder engines with turbocharging technology and transmission of two types - a manual gearbox and a continuously variable variator.
Nissan's vice president of marketing and sales, Guillaume Cartier, also announced that next month the premiere of the GT-R Nismo hypercar would take place in Tokyo next month, with staff from the Williams team.
