The new version of the CityCar Volkswagen Up! will be designed on the basis of the car in a five-door version. Thanks to additional millimeters, not only the interior space will increase, but also the volume of the trunk. In the standard modification of the model, no more than 253 liters of luggage is placed in the cargo compartment with the seatbacks raised.
The new version of the Volkswagen Up is expected! will be equipped with a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder gasoline engine, available in two power options: 60 and 75 hp The engine is aggregated with a manual gearbox.
According to the publication Autocar, Volkswagen is not going to realize the "stretched" Volkswagen Up! in Europe and even in China, where long-wheel drive cars are in high demand among motorists. The main market for new items will be the South American region of the German cars.
