The city authorities plan to solve the problem of traffic jams by creating new highways that will pass over existing railways.
The first paid highway over the railways can be laid along the Kazan and Yaroslavl directions. According to Alexey Vasilkov, Deputy General Director of Giprostroymost OJSC, expressways above the ground should solve the problem of traffic jams on existing roads and connect the transport networks of the capital and suburbs into a single system.
In accordance with the project, overpasses have two lanes in each direction and exits onto the road network - four on the Kazan and six on the Yaroslavl directions. The permitted lane speed will be 150 km / h. Roads will be paid - from 4 to 6 rubles per 1 km, so the average fare for the entire route will be around 200 rubles, Izvestia reports.
The pre-project involves raising funds from four budgets for French cars owners: Moscow, Moscow Region, the federal budget and Russian Railways. Preliminary estimates showed that the construction cost of the Yaroslavl flyover will be 214 billion rubles, Kazan - 207 billion rubles.
